 Testimonials
"Excellent work! Love the choices of textures and sounds--very lush! And I don't know what you've done in your stereo mix, but it really has a nice sense of life! Doesn't sound hammered or overly processed, just comes beautifully out of the speakers--it doesn't feel at all like canned strings. I can't wait to hear the other stuff with it! Thanks for your work and the complete documentation--all that stuff helps! Once again, outstanding work!"

"In horse racing it's called "The horse for the course"; in business "The Rainmaker"; in music---- it's "Chris Alpiar": he knows your message better than you do!!!!"
-- Baird Thompson

 Chris' Notes
Hey! If you are in Seattle on a Tuesday night, head on over to the Owl 'n Thistle for a groovy jazz jam session hosted by Bebop and Destruction.

One of my closest friends and brothers of the saxophone has his new band Swampdweller and is making a very original sound. Headed up by insane Alto Saxophonist Marc Fendel, and filled with some of Seattle's top Jazz, Hip Hop, and Funk musicians this gig is changing the shape of modern instrumental music.

"I, myself, came to enjoy the players who didn't only just swing but who invented new rhythmic patterns, along with new melodic concepts. And those people are: Art Tatum, Bud Powell, Max Roach, Sonny Rollins, Lester Young, Dizzy Gillespie and Charles Parker, who is the greatest genius of all to me because he changed the whole era around."
